About this place

Location: Amaia Skies Avenida is convenient for students and reviewees. Approximate walking times: 5–10 minutes to FEU, UE and Mapúa; 10–15 minutes to UST and FEATI; and 15–20 minutes to CEU, San Sebastian and San Beda. Other Manila schools are accessible by public transport. LRT-1 Doroteo Jose station is across the road. Puregold, laundry services and BPI are also right in front of the tower. A few things I personally considered: Manila's heat can make small rooms uncomfortable, so I installed 3M solar film, insulation and a thermal curtain to help reduce heat entering through the window. I also provided an IVO water purifier because, when I stayed here, I had to buy bottled water or heat water myself. Rent includes Wi-Fi, association dues, and electricity and water up to specified limits, with excess charges if those limits are exceeded. As a parent, I prefer predictable monthly expenses; as a unit owner, I prefer a straightforward arrangement for everyone. I also love the condo lounge. As someone who works, it's nice to have an air-conditioned place to sit, work or take a break. The rooms are small, and the partitions do not reach the ceiling, so they are not fully enclosed or soundproof. This setup may not suit everyone. But if you value cleanliness, an organized space and your own designated room rather than a bunk bed, it may be worth considering. I prepared the unit with these everyday needs in mind, because I understand both sides—as a parent and as someone who works, too.
