Bonifacio Global City was built on a former army base, and being planned from nothing gives it what older Metro Manila districts cannot offer: wide sidewalks, buried utilities and a street grid that makes sense. International schools and multinational offices have concentrated here, and so has the foreign rental market. It is newer, more expensive and less textured than the city around it.
